Firstly, I would like to thank the drivers who use Forest Drive on a daily basis for adhering to the 30 km/h speed limit in the playground zone between Falstaff Avenue and Finch Crescent.

Ugly ducklings. I apologize if some people find this offensive, but the new duck wheat art is incredibly ugly. It is embarrassing to have this as part of our city. It’s worse than Edmonton’s giant pile of shiny balls. I love St.

I live on Lacombe Drive. Love my neighbour and neighbours, but I’m so scared to cross the street with my dogs. Nobody stops at stop signs anymore or slows down for pedestrians at all. I feel like cars are on my heels all the time.

Re: “Socialist hogwash not a fix for country’s problems” ( St. Albert Gazette , Sept. 8). Hogwash is a very good term to describe Mr. McLeod’s article. I suspect we will see a lot more of this type of hogwash in the upcoming Alberta election.

As I sit here rocking and humming to my baby, I have silent tears of joy streaming down my face due to the kindness of a St. Albert angel. I am a busy mother of two, ages four and 11 months.

May I propose a new motto for our city. Edmonton has had “City of Champions.” Ours should be “Red Light Capital of the World.

I write about Mr. Brian McLeod’s commentary ( St. Albert Gazette , Saturday, Sept. 8) titled “Socialist ‘hogwash’ not a fix for country’s problems.

I’m very fond of the Gazette in almost every way. But I’m starting to strongly dislike the Your Views section. Week after week, the same people rehash issues and “clarify” their stances, rebut their opposition and bore the rest of us to tears.
