I have no wish to insert myself into the back and forth between Kenneth Kully and Doris Wrench Eisler, but I do want to correct a couple of mistakes and false assertions in Mr Kully’s letter, “Real Morality – Loving Your Enemies And Helping Them – Is

Love is palpable, the real thing, part of human mosaic
Kevin Kully’s use of the “honorific” Mrs. is either insult or ignorance ( Gazette , Your Views, Aug. 22). It is certainly archaic and hearkens back to the days when, under English law, women did not have agency in their own right.

Oh, the pain subsidy-seeking, global-warming enthusiasts must be feeling
Had to laugh at Mr. Brian McLeod’s commentary in the Gazette (Aug. 8). I could almost hear the gnashing of teeth, the barely controllable anguish of subsidy-seeking, global-warming misguided enthusiasts.

Canada lagging behind when it comes to universal change rooms
In response to Elizabeth Allchin, respecting women in change rooms ( Gazette letters, Aug. 1): Ms. Allchin states I should examine what I wrote. I beg your pardon, but perhaps it is you who should understand better what it is you are reading.

City can do better job of recycling
I think the city can do better when it comes to recycling. It's recommended by a city employee to use plastic grocery bags for garbage can liners or for picking up dog messes.
