Need for respectful debate
Thank you to Doug Neuman for underscoring the need for respectful political debate in his piece from the Saturday June 3 Gazette. Perhaps it’s just me but it does appear that politics at all levels has become more nasty in recent years.

Show respect for girls
I am tired of girls just being there for their bodies and their looks. I think women and girls are 100 per cent more than that. Honestly, we have a brain, ideas and a mind that could change the world just like anyone else.

Nasty side of politics

Speed limit solution
I must commend the letter from A.I. Smith (St. Albert Gazette, May 31). He is 100 per cent correct about the photo radar locations.

Less speed, less photo radar
Regarding A.J. Smith's letter (Gazette, May31), our condo overlooks Gervais Road so we have a bird's eye view of the road every day. June 1 I was walking across the well-marked crossing at Goodridge at 11 a.m.

St. Albert a fertile ground for penny pinchers
I fully agree with Bryan Corbett (St. Albert Gazette, May 31) when he says that penny pinching citizens and councillors will ensure that St. Albert remains a semi-great city.

Necessary infrastructure
Recently I had a brief conversation with a current member of City Council. I asked the councillor their thoughts on the library petition.
