I must commend the letter from A.I. Smith (St. Albert Gazette, May 31). He is 100 per cent correct about the photo radar locations.
If Mayor Crouse or anybody on council want a quick solution to the asinine speed limits around this city I may have a simple solution.
Make all residential streets where there are children and an over abundance of vehicles parked on both sides of the street 40 km/hr. All other roads 60 km/hr. Why is Dawson, Grandin, Bellerose, etc 50 km/hr.? Just get rid of the 50 zones, period. 60 or 40 km/hr., done!
No driver in St. Albert needs to go 50 km/hr. on a residential street with children present. Everitt Drive is a perfect example of my solution.
