Recent historical events have confirmed my belief that the worst way to make a decision is by putting it to the popular vote.

If I was mayor, all well-behaved owners and dogs would be welcome on outdoor restaurant patios. I would promote St. Albert as a Pet and Garden City.

Margaret Romaine isn’t the only one not happy with parking at new seniors centre (Gazette, May 10). The new centre is busy with lots of programs and parking is always at a premium.

I'm a young 18-year-old male. I work full time eight to five, Monday to Friday. I have achieved a lot from my hard work. Fourteen months ago my family decided to move to Desjardins Terrace in St. Albert.

After returning home after a brief holiday, I was skimming through issues of the St. Albert Gazette that had accumulated during our absence. I had to chuckle. In a world of supposedly constant change, I see that some things do actually stay the same.

It is the citizens of St. Albert who are at the heart of what makes our community a wonderful place in which to live; find meaning in daily living; beauty in every niche.
