I have been reading with interest some of the comments about train horns and public safety. I think a little perspective is helpful.

In Ms. Taylor's recent published letter (Gazette, March 21), while lamenting over council's March 16 decision to award $50,000 to STARS Foundation, a provincial emergency helicopter service, she chose to launch an attack on Coun. Sheena Hughes.

On Friday, March 27, I had an allergic reaction to an unknown source and was taken to the Sturgeon Hospital in St. Albert. I was at the dance festival and am from out of town.

I would like to bring up the subject of visibility here in St. Albert.
