Nobody that you know ever wins! Sure there's a winner, but they are usually across the country and one person is swimming in $30 million, $40 million, or $50 million-plus jackpots! The lottery should be changed to multiple $1 million prizes only.

When I read Dave Taylor's letter regarding a speeding ticket (St. Albert Gazette, Aug. 26) I had to show the article to my husband. He also received a ticket on the same street, just after 5 p.m., but he was going 54, clearly a speeding ticket.

I want to pass on my hardy congratulations to our city council. On Monday night they moved forward to finalize the development of the Jensen Lakes subdivision for development.
