Praise where praise is due. It is with some trepidation that I have to agree not only with your editorial in the Aug. 26 Gazette but the choice of your lead story by Kevin Ma as well.
Let's face it, no amount of pennies thrown in the wishing well is going to change the fact that our current economic structure is based on oil. Facts are facts and intermittent unreliable windmills do not change that.
Your lead story by Kevin Ma deserved to be there. It has a beginning, middle and end. It flows logically from one point to the next, illustrates limitations involved and finally has a touch of the whimsical with respect to the soap. Well done. Joe Prins, St. Albert
