I am writing this letter in response to the Health Monitor, (St. Albert Gazette Aug. 5). Under the heading Morning-After Pill you write about the recent approval of the RU-486 abortion pill by Health Canada.

In order to dethrone the Harper Conservatives the idea of a Liberal-NDP coalition must remain an option in the post-election scenario. If the trend in the recent polls, as of Aug.

Ralph Smeding PEng., makes some good points and sound arguments in criticizing a recent letter on climate change, but he generously overlooked some important weaknesses.

Having been away for many years, it is nice to see that the city still maintains its esthetic value by continuing to plant young trees. However, the maintenance of said trees isn’t what it used to be.

I read Mr. Kolomyjec's letter and Ms. Cunningham’s letter of opinion and must make a comment. There are too many people in this world that see petroleum products as "bad.

Now that Doris W.E. has weighed in on the climate debate I'm not sure that anyone else's opinion matters, but here's my shot since the Gazette graciously lets everyone have a say here.

Sitting on my front porch during the evening I can't help but count the coyotes that are wandering down the Red Willow Trail and Otter Crescent. The citizens of Erin Ridge are concerned.
