When I read Dave Taylor's letter regarding a speeding ticket (St. Albert Gazette, Aug. 26) I had to show the article to my husband. He also received a ticket on the same street, just after 5 p.m., but he was going 54, clearly a speeding ticket. He was surprised to learn it was a maximum 30 limit there, similar to Dave he has never seen children or people in the park.
Having lived in St. Albert for 19 years, I believe there are many other places that photo radar vans or trucks would be of more use to actually slow people down.
