Thank you to the mayor and the councillors who gave their support and approval for The Healing Garden.

I find it interesting how it is made to appear the residents are requiring the need for bigger arena and aquatic facilities.

Re: Sylvia Piche's letter “Sturgeon County needs paved roads” (Gazette, Dec. 28). Sturgeon County is far from the only county in Alberta that has a large number of gravel/dirt roads.

Letter writer Mike Dutcher (Gazette, Jan. 4) has challenged Chris Nelson's article ‘Gambling on pipelines and carbon tax’ (Gazette, Dec. 14).

The column (Gazette, Dec. 24) written by the former alderman and MLA, Ken Allred, regarding free Wi-Fi through out the city, was well thought out, practical and informative.

Recent changes advanced by St. Albert City Council to its Public Participation Policy, Publication of Council Meeting Agenda and Procedural Bylaws relating to Public Hearing Processes deserve attention and a compliment.

Just want to give a big shout out to the person on Ellington Crescent who started the “You've Been Elf-ed” on our block. It was fun watching my children open the door to find a surprise gift left for us with no name on it.

Last week, I found myself driving behind a young lady in a white Subaru WRX, who had her cellphone mounted high on the dash, and was watching music videos or movies while she drove. This went on from Inglewood Drive all the way down Boudreau Road.
