Will it take a serious weather related injury and subsequent lawsuit before the city of St. Albert takes the necessary steps to ensure the safety of its transit passengers? Recently temperatures were dangerously low.

In a letter to the editor in the (Gazette, Jan. 14) edition, a resident questioned the amount of money St. Albert taxpayers will have to pay for the reinstallation and refurbishment of a monument that used to be located in front of the St.

Re: Ms. Piche’s letter titled “Tax increases not warranted” (St. Albert Gazette, Jan. 4) is long on innuendo and rather short on specifics. I believe the county tax increase you reference is a 1.31 per cent increase.

Your editorial on journalism, (Gazette, Jan. 11), should have struck fear into everyone who read it.

Sarge was a beautiful German Shepherd who lived a difficult life in St. Albert. His owner was unable to responsibly care for him in terms of providing housing; food and unconditional love.

In an age where customer service is all but dead, we, in St Albert have a real gem of a store called Mr. Pet's. Upon walking through the entry door, the customer is greeted with a hello and a smile by one, if not two or more employees.
