In an age where customer service is all but dead, we, in St Albert have a real gem of a store called Mr. Pet's.
Upon walking through the entry door, the customer is greeted with a hello and a smile by one, if not two or more employees.
The friendly staff smile, offer help and invite clients to interact with Spike, the in-house speaking parrot.
While there, I witnessed employees hand-deliver purchases to client's vehicles.
I personally have nothing to gain by praising this store's standards. I'm just a regular and occasional client who sometimes drops by only to take my kids to see the animals.
This is to say thank you to Mr. Pet's for their good old-fashioned service and personal touch to our community.
