Thanks to many people who helped me after a tragic fall down our basement stairs that chained me to a walker, canes or a wheelchair. My special thanks go out to my son; the greatest man in my life. There are too many people to name, but a few strangers stand out, who helped me: a man named Devon; many kind taxi drivers working for St. Albert Taxi; a lady at Shoppers’ Drug Mart, Summit Center; a lot of staff members from St. Albert Walmart. They went far beyond their job requirements for my benefit. I like to think that it isn't just the fact, that I am physically challenged; but that I have a quick, sincere smile; and try to return their kindness; whenever possible.
Thanks to the wonderful friends from the St. Albert Painters' Guild and VASA; who gave me respect, and helped me gain my confidence back. Thanks to my personal friends; who enrich my life, sometimes daily. May 2017 bring you all health, luck, and most of all, happiness.
