Distracted driving dangerous

Last week, I found myself driving behind a young lady in a white Subaru WRX, who had her cellphone mounted high on the dash, and was watching music videos or movies while she drove. This went on from Inglewood Drive all the way down Boudreau Road.

Last week, I found myself driving behind a young lady in a white Subaru WRX, who had her cellphone mounted high on the dash, and was watching music videos or movies while she drove. This went on from Inglewood Drive all the way down Boudreau Road. It continued until I went my separate way on 167 Avenue and 127 Street. She made no attempt to hide this behaviour. I could see her phone clearly through her back window (and no, it was not a dash cam).

What will it take to get people to understand the serious nature of distracted driving? Will it take her losing her life or causing the death of someone else?

I can only hope she or her family reads this letter and helps her change her thinking.
