Raiders win two The St. Albert Tire Warehouse Raiders swept the weekend season opener in the Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League. Scores were 4-2 against the Kings in Sherwood Park and 5-2 against the Grande Peace Storm at Akinsdale Arena.

The St. Albert Ringette Association rings in the season with the 19th annual Turkey Ring. The four-day 128-game tournament starts 7:30 a.m. Friday and the last game is 4 p.m. Monday.
