Guess what two words we’ll no longer hear escape the premier’s lips. Here’s a clue: the first one is social and the second is licence.

Kudos to the City of St. Albert snow removal crew on Friday Feb. 9 on Forest Drive. What a great job of snow clearing the streets. I was on the street but rushed to move my car. They did a great job of clearing our street and driveway.

We are deeply concerned about the program to install smart water meters throughout St Albert.

I share J. Dyck's ( Gazette , Feb. 3) frustration with drivers who drive under the limit when conditions are ideal. However, the posted speed is a maximum, not a minimum. It is set for conditions of good visibility and road surface.

The morning when I realized that the crews were out snow plowing our street, I viewed the heavy snowbank at the end of our driveway with dismay. In a few minutes my granddaughter would be arriving by car.

I take exception with the letter from J. Dyck ( Gazette , Feb. 3) where he suggests “if your vehicle is not capable of reaching the posted speed perhaps you should not be on the road.

Re: "Council to consider traffic solutions" ( Gazette , Jan. 31) Save the $125,000 for the city report on traffic impact on Ray Gibbon Drive. Don’t wait until September to consider recommendations.
