I take exception with the letter from J. Dyck (Gazette, Feb. 3) where he suggests “if your vehicle is not capable of reaching the posted speed perhaps you should not be on the road.”
There are many seniors who do drive slower but are doing so within their abilities. This is not highway driving where it could be a serious problem. Give them a break and allow for a few extra minutes in your driving time. Someday you too may be a senior and appreciate how important it is to still have mobility.
