The ATV/snowplow caper needs to have its day in court.

I respect Bob Russell’s opinions and have crossed swords with him before on issues on which I simply cannot agree with him. In one case I pressed the send button before properly reviewing what I had said.

I'm very disappointed in how this matter was handled by the RCMP and bylaw enforcement. Apparently common sense and discretion is no longer an ability required by members upholding the law.

What is happening in our city? Isn't it nice that our law enforcement officials are now encouraging people to not help their neighbours? Dr. Jon Cooper was trying to help others by clearing a sidewalk in an extreme situation.

Dr. Jon Cooper’s and his son’s attempts to share goodwill in times of distress is remarkable. Civility is alive and well and I applaud them for doing a good-hearted deed.

During the last snowfall, everyone on my block pulled together to remove the massive amounts of snow on the street and walkways. I met neighbours that I had never talked to before. It was great to see good human spirit in action.

I feel very badly Dr. Jon Cooper got a ticket. I mean giving somebody a ticket for removing snow is pretty ignorant. What is wrong with the RCMP? There is no harm in doing a good deed. You would think that having Dr.

I am disgusted that a neighbour of ours was apparently approached by bylaw to be ticketed for using his quad with a plow to do the sidewalks in our neighbourhood.

Like many others, I was very disappointed to hear of the citations, impoundment and charges issued to the Drs. Jon and Dave Cooper by our local RCMP officers.

I consider myself fortunate to not only live in St. Albert, but to live in a beautiful older neighbourhood in the Grandin area.
