March for Life is something of a misnomer: there is no evidence that antiabortion supporters are for life: they certainly disrespect the lives of women, many of whom suffered and died from illegal abortions in the past.

I attended the March for Life on May 9 because I know that abortion is wrong and I wanted to show my support. An abortion is the intentional killing of an innocent human being, who has no ability to defend themselves.

I felt a real sense of disappointment in the Councilors and Mayor of our City in their vote to not give free access to public recreation facilities for 80 year old seniors; they should be reminded that not all civic decisions are about money.
