Mr. Scheer, I view the conduct and content of comments made by my MP, Michael Cooper, in a recent meeting of the Justice Committee dishonourable and not representative of my Canadian values in advancing discussion on important issues.

In the June 5 issue of the Gazette , Ms. Henderson writes about action taken by Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer to rebuke St. Albert MP Michael Cooper for some of his comments and actions. Cooper apologized and Scheer considers the matter closed.

A short time ago, Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer made a major speech in which he boldly and correctly stated that the Conservative Party of Canada rejects all those who espouse racism and Islamophobia.

It is interesting that Luke Fevin is concerned about taking 12 year olds on a tax funded field trip to the March for life with their parents knowledge and support.

I read with interest the article regarding "Single-use plastics under review". I hope a study done for council takes into account several questions.

I try to do what I can for the environment and the planet. I recycle, blue bag what I can, brown can what I can't and use the recycling Depot as needed. I just wish the City of St. Albert made it easier to do the right thing.
