The St. Albert Impact women’s team is one win away from advancing into a higher division after a blowout win against the Ice on Thursday night.

The St. Albert E3 Rugby team is back on the field on Saturday after a loss to the Parkland Sharks on June 30. The 11th place St. Albert squad fell to the sixth place Sharks with a final score of 24-37. St.

Two young St. Albert athletes have teamed up to represent Alberta in one of the biggest amateur hockey tournaments in Canada.

The St. Albert Rugby Football Club hosts two matches this week in the Edmonton Rugby Union. The first division women battle the Clan (3-1) tonight and the third division men tackle the Parkland Sharks (1-1) Thursday. Kickoff times are 7 p.m.
