The third win in a row for the St. Albert Impact premier women was Tuesday’s shutout of Inter SC in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

Jessica Rankine tallied three times and Mikaela Donnelly and Danica Blasius also scored against Inter (4-5-2) at Riel Park.

The Impact (7-3) plays Xavier Academy (1-8-2) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Riel Park.

The only two scoring chances the St. Albert Rangers gave up against Man City results in goals in Monday’s 2-2 draw.

Mike Thompson and Will Backhouse replied for the Rangers (5-3-1), who squandered multiple opportunities against Man City (2-5-2) in the division 1A match at the ESA Complex.

The next Edmonton District Soccer Association contest is Monday against the Edmonton Warriors (4-4-1) at 6:30 p.m. at the ESA Complex.

The St. Albert Impact fell short against the top division 1B team in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

The Impact lost 3-1 to Futballers FC (6-0-1) Wednesday as several scoring opportunities unravelled at the last second at Confederation Park.

Jaewon Hwang scored and Scott Lysenko and Tanner Ross provided strong efforts.

The next match for the Impact (2-5) is Wednesday against AC Milan (2-3-1) at 7 p.m. at Riel Park.

The St. Albert Impact are in the thick of the division 1B women’s pennant race after their fifth win in 10 matches.

Chelsea Fitzgerald, Shelby Oshust and Hallee Peter found the back of the net in Wednesday’s 3-1 result against the KC Trojans (5-4-1) at Riel Park.

The matched was knotted 1-1 at halftime. In net was Ashley Chaput.

The Impact (5-2-3), Sherwood Park Phoenix (5-2-3) and Angels Scottish Classics (5-1-3) are tied for the division lead in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

Fitzgerald’s goal was her division-high seventh of the season.

The Impact are back in action July 13 against ASC United (2-2-5) at 7 p.m. at Riel Park.

The St. Albert Impact are running away with the division 2A women’s pennant after their eighth consecutive victory in the Edmonton District Soccer Association.

The Impact improved 9-1 in Sunday’s 2-1 decision against Sturgeon (3-5-2) at Goldstick Park.

In second place is Phoenix FC (5-3-2), the only team to beat the Impact, 4-2 on May 12.

Melanie Seidel scored twice for eight on the season as the division’s co-leader in goals.

At halftime it was 1-1. Michelle Brodeur was in net for the first half and was replaced by Breanne Murphy.

Thursday the Impact and Ice-Lodhar (2-5-3) hook up at 7 p.m. at Riel Park.

The St. Albert Impact evened their record after eight games in the Tier 4 Virk men’s division in Tuesday’s victory at Goldstick Park.

Excellent ball possession resulted in two goals for Gheorge Ruicea and one for Scott Robson in the 3-0 outcome against the Comets (1-5-2).

Both players share the team lead in goals with six apiece.

The Impact (4-4) plays the Dreadnoughts (5-2-2) Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the ESA Complex.
