Re: MPs mailout reflected Canadian outrage at payment to Khadr, Rod Loesch, p.21 (Gazette, Nov. 1). Rod Loesch’s outrageous views are demented. His link to an obsessive blog of news snippets do not provide facts.

I find it disturbing to know that people who partake in aquacize and find my splashes doing the butterfly in the designated lane for swimmers rather childish. We are all in a pool for one reason to enjoy the water and water will fly.

I was truly dismayed when I read Matt Diederichs, and then Maggie Clayton’s letters (Gazette, Oct. 18). Full disclosure: I have not seen the “offending literature” from MP Michael Cooper.

Don Schneider (Gazette, Oct. 28) says that Matt Diederichs should leave his personal beliefs at home and allow students to form their own political opinions based on a balanced view and rigorous debate of all the facts. I agree wholeheartedly.

This letter is in response to Matt Diederichs letter in (Gazette, Oct. 18). When I first read the letter my thoughts were that this would be something one would find on an ANTIFA page on Facebook. I received the mailout in question.

Regarding St. Albert’s need for a branch library, Rachel Vincent ( Gazette , Sept. 30) got it right: “It’s been 18 years since the need for an expansion of library services has been recognized.
