Politicians and their government are much like diapers, they need to be changed when they start to stink. And the 40-year-old ‘pee sea’ government in Alberta is really starting to stink.

As another winter storm approaches I am interested to see how the city handles snow removal. As a frequent commuter to Edmonton, I couldn’t help but notice snow removal in that city is superior to ours.

I would like to offer kudos to all members of city council and our mayor for taking what many of us perceive to be a new strategy on council. That is seeking out ways to save money for all of St. Albert's weary taxpaying public.
