Politicians and their government are much like diapers, they need to be changed when they start to stink. And the 40-year-old ‘pee sea’ government in Alberta is really starting to stink. The premier, who apparently holds the respect of an old diaper is now being called ‘dead-head Ed’ by very disappointed Albertans totally tired of his stinking political crap, and those of his equally loaded ministers in charge of our health care.
Call it narcissism, carelessness, ignorance, indifference to voter needs, excessive feelings of self-importance or simple stupidity — it’s all political crap that must be changed and the awful absence of proper health care serves to prove it.
When not progressive enough to bring progress, and yet not conservative enough to conserve the good things we once had, what is a Progressive Conservative government? May I say, a loaded stinking political diaper that must be changed?
Last time the X, next time the axe! Voters are still the bosses in our democracy. It might be for only a few seconds every four years but voters may still decide who may boss them around after an election. And the next one can’t come too soon for many Albertans now.
