The board of Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools wishes to clarify the basis for Catholic public education in Alberta.

The state is that great fiction by which everyone tries to live at the expense of everyone else.

On Thursday, Jan. 20 at 12:30 p.m. on Gate Avenue, my daughter’s vehicle was side-swiped, by a white truck. My daughter was heading west in the far right lane when a white truck pulling a long flatbed pulled into her lane, cutting her off.

When discussing the benefits of the Catholic school board, we need to focus on what is best for our children. We should avoid personal prejudices we might have against religion in general or the Catholic Church.

Re: NestlĂ© and bottled water industry I am taken aback and curiously intrigued by the recent letter written by Mr. John R. Challinor in response to Albert Lacombe School’s stance on bottled water.

Re: Ambulance services in St. Albert On April 1, 2009, the City of St. Albert Fire Services agreed to participate in a two-year contract with Alberta Health Services EMS to provide emergency medical services.
