Competitive atmosphere makes better schools

When discussing the benefits of the Catholic school board, we need to focus on what is best for our children. We should avoid personal prejudices we might have against religion in general or the Catholic Church.

The Catholic school board provides excellent education. In addition it presents parents with a strong option. It competes with the other school board for your tax dollar which makes education and services better in all schools.

With respect to prayer in school, it is optional and non-Christian children benefit by learning tolerance.

If you object to Catholic schools, simply send your children to the other school. The consequence will be that without funding the Catholic schools will eventually close. I do not believe this is in the interest of our children but it is a personal choice. The competitive system within our school system works and is in the interest of our children and our society.
