We loved having the food trucks involved with the last art walk in downtown St. Albert! Great to see some fresh ideas for our downtown core. Whatever brings people into the city centre is beneficial to all the businesses downtown.

Why is there no spring garbage pickup this year? Most people cleaned up their yards in the spring and filled the clear bags for pickup. This year our front yards are lined up with bags waiting to be picked up.

I am appalled at Jeff Johnson and his vision for Alberta students in our schools. As a long-time teacher in St. Albert, I witnessed children memorizing their multiplication facts for the first time, and seeing instant gratification in their eyes.

The St. Albert Painters’ Guild wishes to thank all our friends, families and guests who took time to come to our spring show, Picture Perfect Spring, April 25 to 27, to admire and to purchase.

Re: The recent Mayor’s Walk for Charity. The persons who walk the hardest walk deserve as many accolades as the one who finished first or the one who raised the most money.

There is a fight waging between the provincial teachers’ task force and the Alberta Teachers Association.

Hockey arena or regional recreation facility – so many questions, so little time! I would like to thank Morinville town council for the open house held on April 28. It was good to see more people attending this and sharing their views.
