In the car park in front of Wendy’s on Gervais Road on Tuesday, April 22, I slipped on a pile of mucky, slushy ice as I was trying to get back into my car and landed sitting up on the pile of ice.

In olden times in St. Albert, bathing was tricky. One could hide behind a partition and, with a bucket, have a makeshift shower. If one were in the chips, they could climb some rickety stairs and have a soak in a big claw-foot tub. It cost 50 cents.
