I just wanted to say that I totally agree with Mark Haun in his letter about responsible dog owners (St. Albert Gazette, April 16).
I too use the trail system in St. Albert and over the years I have been jumped and nipped at countless times by dogs off leash while out walking. The really amazing thing is that when it happens the owners usually start laughing! I'm sure they think it's cute or funny while I certainly do not. It's extremely frightening!
People, I do not know your dog and have no idea what they will do while they are jumping on me. Please observe the bylaws and keep your dogs on a leash on the trails and parks.
