I was deeply distressed by recent claims made by the education minister’s representatives in the local media coverage of the Morinville public education crisis.

The story in the Gazette Nov. 1 by Victoria Paterson states that City of St. Albert pools are short lifeguards. To say that the City of Edmonton is to blame for our lack of lifeguards for their two new rec centres, is completely inaccurate.

Once again the mayor and city council agree to add another fee to our already sky high and unaffordable utility bill. I do not agree with paying ahead for a service or repair that I may never see or ever be done.
