Reading your editorial in the Gazette, Wednesday Nov. 25, I nodded and agreed. Finally someone is getting it. Until I read to your last paragraph. Science is never settled. There is always room to dispute science. That is what science is all about.

City council's priorities are a little confused: they've reduced funding for St.

Last night, my husband Ken and I had a bunch of friends over for dinner. Knowing that use of food banks in Alberta has gone up 23 per cent this year, we asked them to bring donations for the food bank. About one-third of those in need are children.

On Wednesday, as a new carrier, I delivered the St. Albert Gazette to three routes in the Forest Lawn area. Many thanks to those who clear their sidewalks; this makes a carrier’s job less hazardous.

I would like to say how moved I was by the funeral procession for RCMP Const. David Wynn. It was the most sad and tragic thing I have ever seen, while at the same time being amazing and beautiful.

Re: “Canada supporting apartheid in Israel, says activist” (St. Albert Gazette, Feb. 4). It is true that Palestinians have a difficult life in the Middle East.

I could not agree more with your recent letter ‘Plowing 's'now good.’ What exactly are we paying for??? Every time there is a moderate snowfall I see no evidence of any plow, grader nor sander.

I retired after spending 24 years as a Crown Prosecutor, trying to make St. Albert and Alberta a safe place for people like A.L. Smith.

I am very proud of the whole city for hosting the funeral in such a beautiful way. Thank you Mayor Crouse for the beautiful words you spoke about the RCMP.

On Jan. 26, I, along with thousands of people attended the regimental funeral for Const. David Wynn. I was able to see the procession making its way down Poirier Avenue.
