I am writing in response to the article regarding the “Council expense review calls for changes,” Gazette, April 8. I don’t understand the demand for an independent audit.

In their recent letters to the editor, Spinks and Werhun orchestrate a cry of “witch-hunt” merely because Councillors Hughes and MacKay called for an investigation of Crouse’s expense account billings.

This isn’t a rant about photo radar. It is a rant about photo radar at a specific location during specific times and just to be clear, I have never received a photo radar ticket at this location.

We have a duty this week as Canadians who value our freedoms to educate our family, friends, and neighbours and stamp out Bill C-51.

Steve Knobbe is more interested in what Putin might do and not in the actual, unprecedented evils of the West, lead by the U.S.

Further to the article regarding our attempt to establish a senior AA/AAA team in our fine city some clarification of exactly what a senior hockey team is seems to be in order.

Everywhere you go people walk away and press the button to automatically lock their car doors. They do not care if they are parked in a major condo area and wake people up. It is just a bad habit.

I hope I am not too late to extend my kudos to the writers of the Gazette for the article regarding the St. Albert council changing its status from part-time to full-time councillors.
