A UCP canvasser visited our home a few weeks ago. He greeted us politely, introduced himself, and said, ‘I am guessing from the sign on your lawn that you won’t be voting for us’. We agreed; he bade us farewell.

As a citizen who has exercised my democratic right to vote, both provincially and federally for over 45 years I have come to understand some basic truths about electioneering and voting which I think are important for all to contemplate.

Election season and as soon as signs go up, they are vandalized. It's typically the NDP signs that get knocked over or defaced while other signs are standing untouched nearby.

I’d like to give a huge shout out of appreciation to the St. Albert Walmart. We had family evacuated from the Entwhistle/Evansburg fire in which the tireless efforts of both the fire department and volunteers saved their home.

I have questions concerning the article in the St. Albert Gazette dated March 23 "Council to Look at Costs to Study Municipal Police Force" in St Albert. I have researched the populations of Grande Prairie, Red Deer and St.

St. Albert has two aquatic facilities for year round use. One is primarily used as a play facility with two waterslides, a lazy river, and two small children's playareas, complete with water toys.

Last week when my mom, who is a senior, was taking my dog for a walk (I am disabled), she was stopped by a young man who mentioned to her that he hoped she was able to walk safely on the snowy sidewalks.

Comments by Kristopher Wells, Marie Renaud, and Kurt Phillips in the article "Arden rental policies under scrituniy after controversial event" will disappoint proponents of free speech.

I came upon the Paul Kane article in your Jan. 12 edition.

Phyllis Robertson is to be applauded and admired for enlightening the public as to how our loved ones are lacking in professional care and attention. For whatever reasons this happens, it most certainly is not acceptable.
