It's time for city council to take a hard look at what is really necessary for the next few years and put some of the “nice to have” projects on the back burner for a couple of years.

'Unfortunately, our provincial government, in a typical government way, provided us with the idea of replacing the RCMP with a provincial police force with no explanation as to why this was being considered, what are the benefits, how will the transition take place, and what will it cost the taxpayer?'
