'I agree we must be responsible in how we spend, but to say that we shouldn't increase taxes at all is a limited way of thinking.'

Every word that comes out of a politician is backwards and infuriating.

'The health-care problem has been coming for a long time, COVID just gave it a little push.'

'You want to have all these extra amenities, pay for them yourselves. Stop robbing the rest of us.'

It's time for city council to take a hard look at what is really necessary for the next few years and put some of the “nice to have” projects on the back burner for a couple of years.
