For the 12 days leading up to Christmas we published the 12 Days of Christmas Kindness where we celebrate a local person who does good for others and do some good to them!

They were so well received that we wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to see all of them - so we're publishing them again one each day for the official 12 Days of Christmas - enjoy!

Day 7's gift went to Helen Agbonson, who was nominated by her husband, Idy. Here’s what Idy told us about Helen:

"Helen works tirelessly to keep the Africans and African Descendents Friendship Club of St Albert running. She helps organize a "Taste of Africa" event showcasing African culture to residents of St Albert and area , She is also organizes the "It takes a village to raise a child” event, which bring African Youths together to help direct their their paths.

Idy says Helen could do with some pampering, so we talked to our friends at Sorrentino’s and Studio 107. Click the video to hear more from Idy about what makes Helen special, then watch us go knock on Helen’s door and give her some Christmas cheer! Come back each day until Jan. 6 for a fresh story of Christmas kindness!
