It's Day 2 of the Gazette's 12 Days of Christmas Kindness Program, where we celebrate a local person who does good for others and do some good to them!
Today we're celebrating Tony Robinson. If you're on St. Albert Chat on Facebook, you've probably seen Tony's name offering help to someone in need. Whether it's fixing a flat tire, boosting a dead battery or offering advice on how to tackle various tasks, Tony is always stepping up to lend a hand to others.
12 Days of Christmas Kindness is a series of videos running from Dec. 13 to 24 in the Gazette. Check out other videos in the series here:
DAY 1: "The heart of the neighbourhood"
DAY 3: "Every street needs a light on it"
DAY 4: From Ukraine to St. Albert, with love
DAY 5: "A heart of gold, a zest for life"
Our friends at Cattail Crossing Golf and Winter Club wanted to help us show Tony how much the community appreciates him with a special prize - but first we had to track him down. We finally found him at the St. Albert Seniors Association, where he was - you guessed it - volunteering in the wood shop.
Check out the video to see what happened when the power saw finally stopped – and come back each day from Dec. 13 to Dec. 24 for a fresh story of Christmas kindness!
