For the 12 days leading up to Christmas we published the 12 Days of Christmas Kindness where we celebrate a local person who does good for others and do some good to them!
They were so well received that we wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to see all of them - so we're publishing them again one each day for the official 12 Days of Christmas - enjoy!
Day 11's gift went to Greg Dixon, who was nominated by Beryl Wyspianski. Here’s what Beryl told us about Greg:
"He is always helping his family, the neighbours, his church. Never complains and always asks if there is anything else he can do for you. Had a health issue early summer and spent more time at the hospital helping his fellow patients than lying in bed feeling sorry for himself. Has a very optimistic attitude, when things don't work out he looks for an alternative."

Beryl told us Greg lost his driver’s licence due to his health issues and has to go through several tests before he can get it back, so it would be nice to get some free rides to the hospitals he has to go to for tests.
We talked to our friends at KDM Property Management and they came through with a $250 Uber gift card for Greg to get to those tests so he can get his licence back, and also a $250 gift card to enjoy a nice meal for himself and a friend or loved one.
Let’s go see Greg and give him the great news! Come back again tomorrow (Jan. 5) for our final story - it's a great one!
