For the past 12 days leading up to Christmas we've been publishing the 12 Days of Christmas Kindness where we celebrate a local person who does good for others and do some good to them!
They've been so well received that we wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to see all of them - so we're publishing them again one each day for the official 12 Days of Christmas - enjoy!
On Day 4 we celebrated Bohdan Kotsiubynski, who was nominated by his friend Valeriia Oleinik. Valeriia told us that Bohdan and his family of six came to St. Albert from Ukraine in the summer of 2023, starting from scratch.

Yet despite all the difficulties they’ve faced as newcomers to Canada, Bohdan and his family have been helping other newcomers from Ukraine, offering them food and shelter and helping them move into their own homes.
