It was disappointing to read the Gazette’s Saturday, Aug. 2 front page story regarding teens vandalizing and causing mischief: "Stop the mischief: RCMP.

Re: "Hiring foreign: A local perspective", St. Albert Gazette, Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014. My name is Chad Jenkins. My family and I have been franchisees for various Tim Hortons locations in St. Albert, Edmonton and Morinville for many years.

I would like to commend the outstanding response and diligence of City of St. Albert crews that responded to an incident during the afternoon of Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Mission Hill area of town.

Regarding Scott Hayes’ recent review of “Video Games: The Movie”; Mr. Hayes spent more time ridiculing those who would choose video games as an activity, than he did reviewing what I don’t doubt is an underwhelming movie.
