Can anyone explain why some schools in St. Albert have special speed limits for school hours while others don’t?
At first when I drove past the high school on Giroux Road I reduced my speed to allow for school zone. But was amazed there are NO school zone signs to be seen. Then I drove past a high school on Cunningham Road not only is there a school zone but frequently photo radar is set up as well.
I really would like to know the logic behind the difference, high school students should be old enough to understand the concept of busy streets and paying attention.
