RE: Recognition lights cost double

As usual city council wants to spend money on another frivolous item to try and glorify the city hall and area. How about you spend this on infrastructure (the main roads in the city are in terrible shape).

Council says, "this is for you."

No, it's another tax spend by a council that has no idea how to run a city without constantly raising taxes. Oh, but they are going to increase the gas franchise fee. Yes, taxpayers, that is for you, too.

A lot of us taxpayers are fed up with the constant increase in taxes and fees this city puts on us.

How about we get a mayor and council that can spend efficiently and cut out the irresponsible spending. Decrease property taxes and spend responsibly on the important things. It won't happen with this council! When is the next election?
