I would like to congratulate Ms. Janice Marschner for the excellent letter (Gazette, Nov. 5).

A couple of weeks ago the St. Albert Gazette did a feature article on a new eating establishment. The new eatery is called SixandSeven.

I am reading a lot of letters from St. Albert residents complaining about perceived, and real, property tax increases here in St. Albert. I have to share my story with these residents.

I would love to thank certain generous citizens who shamelessly dumped their unwanted garbage into and around the donation bins in the Canadian Tire parking lot. Now, thanks to you, the bins have been removed and those in need can go without.

As an American voter living in St. Albert, I want to provide a response to the “Trump” article in the Gazette, Nov. 12.

As a long time St. Albert taxpayer, I am frustrated with the ever increasing taxes we pay. The proposed budget increase is 3.1% for residential and 3.7% for business. But this amount could increase due to necessary borrowing for the $10.

I think it's time we put lie to the notion that St. Albert residents get good value for their tax dollars.

It's so easy to finger-point at the City of St. Albert for its alleged shortcomings and "idiotic" decisions, and I've done my fair share of it. So, it's time for two kudos. First, kudos to Dean Schick, manager of transportation.
