The family of Donna Georgina Hughes of St. Albert is saddened to announce her passing on May 20th, 2025, at the age of 79 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Mark; children, David and Jennifer (Sean); grandchild, Auley; sister, Mary (Derald); as well as many beloved relatives and dear friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, Gwen; father, John; and brother, Weston.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donna’s name to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital, the St. Albert Paramedic staff, and all the valued members of AHS who were so kind, caring and compassionate, particularly during her final days.
