With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terri Lynne Beaton (nee Jeffery) on August 21, 2025, at the age of 72.
Terri was a devoted wife to her husband, Jim for 50 years, a loving mother to her daughter, Jaimie and son, Jeff, and a very proud Nanna whose life was defined by the deep love she held for her family. Her warm spirit, generous heart, and recognizable\ laugh were constants in the lives of those who knew and loved her.
Born on September 26, 1952, Terri built a life centered around the values of love, kindness, and family. Born and raised on the farm, east of Namao, she found her greatest joy in the everyday moments — time spent with her children, grandchildren, mom and sister, sharing stories, laughter, and unconditional love.
Terri had a special gift for creating magic during the Christmas season where her home would transform into a Christmas wonderland. For Terri, Christmas wasn’t just a day—it was a season of wonder, tradition, and love. She passed that sense of magic on to her grandchildren, delighting in watching their eyes light up at the same traditions she had once shared with her own children.
Each summer, Terri also looked forward to her annual getaway to Shuswap Lake, a tradition that brought her laughter and connection with dear friends.
Terri’s legacy is one of devotion and care for those she kept close. She leaves behind a family that will forever cherish her memory and strive to honor the example she set — one of joy, compassion, and deep-rooted love.
She will be deeply missed and remembered always. We have lost a laugh that was heard and recognized across waters, in stores, around the block and in our home.
She now finds peace being reunited in Heaven with her mom, Evelyn and dad, Robert.
