July 29, 1934 – August 22, 2025

Terry is survived by his wife Lois of 49 years; four children: Shane (Diane), Cathy (Alan), Michelle (Tim), and Scott (Jennifer); three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Ivy Wood; sister, Elizabeth; and brother, Garth.

Terry was born and raised in Barrhead, Alberta. He worked for TransAlta Utilities until his retirement. Upon retiring in 1994, Terry and Lois started a successful trucking company, which he ran for 20 years. The company is still in business and proudly bears his name. When he finally retired at the age of 80, Terry and Lois bought a home in Arizona, where they enjoyed winters on the golf course and in the warm sunshine.

In 2020 cancer and Covid struck Terry at the same time. He beat the cancer, but it left him unable to enjoy the simple pleasure of joining the guys for coffee, since he couldn't swallow or speak clearly.

Terry died in St. Albert, in the place that he had made home for 47 years.

He was a great father and husband who will be dearly missed.

At the family's request, there will be no funeral.
