It is with sadness, that the family of Rev. Max Solbrekken, announce that he passed away on August 13, 2025.
He is remembered with love by his sweet wife Donna, and children.
Connie (Ron) Beaudette, Linda Gold, Ken (Lena) Solbrekken, Diane Lallemand, Betty (Grahame) Farge, John (Viveca) Solbrekken, 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren. Max is predeceased by his son's-in law- Merv Gold, and Gary Lallemand.
Max was born in Norquay, Sask. in 1933, to Ingvar and Anne Solbrekken. He had 5 siblings- Martin, Astrid, Mekkal, Fred, Emil.
He deeply loved God, his family, others, and shared the Gospel, helping the poor and needy. He was very optimistic, believing with God, all things were possible.
Max and Donna lived in St. Albert for over 50 years. Life was busy, caring for their children, Max & Donna pastoring a number of churches, and preaching around the world. His favourite verse-
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever.
