The St. Albert Exiles put their losing season behind them this week with their first win of the year. The team ran over the Edmonton Nor’Westers in a 41-5 drubbing at the St. Albert Rugby Club Wednesday night.

Emmett Keenan scored two first-half goals to lead the St. Albert Impact Rangers to a 4-0 win over Palermo FC Wednesday evening at Riel Park.

It was a loss on the score sheet, but for the Bellerose Bulldogs girls’ rugby team it felt like a win.

The midget AAA Cardinals take to the diamonds at Legion Memorial Park today for a pair of games against the Okotoks Black. First pitch for game one of the double-header is scheduled for noon, with the second game beginning at 3 p.m.
